R.I.P. Leslie Nielsen

Late last night the world lost a great contributor to the world of comedy, and I just wanted to say rest in peace Mr. Nielsen and my heart goes out to your family and friends.  You shall be missed by myself and all of your fans.

Update Time

Hello out there in internet land.  I just wanted to come on here and give a quick update, so here it goes.  Yes I am slacking right now, times are busy and I do not want to post just to post, it is something I got in trouble with before because I was just posting to post which in turn drops quality to near zero.  I have a few things in the works, but being solo on this, and trying to spread the word takes time.  My main goal now is to build interest so I can actually interact with people, and not just talk to myself day in and day out since I tend to do that anyway.  In the very near future I am going to put up a review which I am planning and writing now, so keep your eyes peeled for that, and please feel free to contact me either through here, or via twitter @themovieroom and we can talk.  Thanks again for anybody reading this, and for your patience.

Past, Present, and Future

Just to give a brief introduction of what this is and what my plans are.  First off I once had a small blog where I reviewed movies, and I admit it was amateur at best.  With this new blog I intend on keeping the same format but actually put forth effort to make it enjoyable for people read.  That takes care of the Past and the Present of the headline I guess since I seemed to have merged them into one simple explanation.  As for the future I can say that if things work out as I have planned out in my head this blog will be fun for all.  My ultimate goal is to have multiple users posting their own videos, reviews, and whatever they feel the need to say.  The blog itself is about all things entertainment, so movies, games, books, and all things along those lines.  At this time I am going to do most of the posting myself, and hopefully get my Twitter page up and running where I can meet some qualified people to assist with this.  Updates will be frequent, but I also want the things that are posted to be something worth while.  There are too many sites, and blogs out there that just want to do nothing but complain, or curse, or scream about things.  Sure these things will inevitably make an appearance on here, but I do not want that to be the dominant focus.  Well there you have it, a little bit about the past, present, and future and I hope to build this little blog in to a great enjoyable thing for people to visit, and hopefully learn something.
